These guys at H1 are really great. They took my car in right away and told me what they would be checking for. They did a tune up and fixed everything I needed and made my car purr like a kitten. Before my honda engine was loud and clunking around and now that it's fixed it sounds great and my acceleration is great. I highly recommend going there to get your car checked out. They even do inspections for free and will ask you what you need for your car before doing any work so you know exactly what you're in for.

Drive bye drop-in and was helped immediately. Girls behind the desk very helpful and knowledgeable. Think i found my new shop. You dont feel like your at used car lot like at other shops that try to push different treatments and repairs. Going back for sure.

They realized their mistake and corrected it. Seems like a miscommunication that the manager caught wind of and handled. These guys are straight up, I recommend them.

The Gresham location of Honest 1 has done oil changes on my car twice now. I find their prices to be quite fair, (check their website for occasional deals and coupons). The front office manager and my maintenance person were both friendly and straightforward with me. They honored the quote they gave me over the phone for a full synthetic oil change and I was in and out in a reasonable amount of time. They have free soda and Internet use to pass the time while you wait. I'll return.

I have used Honest-1 for over five years and they have consistently given me excellent service. I can't say enough about their mechanics who not only repair what I came in for but also advise me on things that could go wrong in the future. This is not unusual for other service shops but it is presented in a professional manner while being shown what is happening to the car. Their prices are very fair and worth it. The environment is always spotless and inviting. Scheduling is superb and being notified when ready is very much appreciated. They also are able to drive me home if I have to leave the car to be worked on. Overall I rate these people the highest because I like their personnel, their work and they way they do business.

I was having a water loss problem and took my escort into H1 for a check up. It cost me $230.00 to find out it was a head gasket and I got a quote for the repair and it was quite lower than I expected. A head bolt broke on removal but they took extra time to ice and heat it to get it out and repair the head gasket it was more then quoted but hundreds under what other repair shops quoted. All in all super happy and Suzzie kept me updated the whole time!

I've taken both mine and my wife's car here for a handful of issues we've had over the past couple years. The crew here is always top-notch professional and nice, and each time have finished the work a helluva lot faster than I had expected (or even needed them to).These are honest guys doing great work. I don't think of taking my vehicles anywhere else anymore. Well done, fellas, and thanks!

I'm becoming a big fan of this place because in my few experiences they have been quick, knowledgeable, and fair priced. But recently I stopped by because one of my brake lights was out and I was about to go on a long trip. They not only fixed it immediately, but with no charge. I was in and out in 3 minutes. That doesn't happen much any more. It's a minor thing with major consequences. It feels like somebody cares and that I'm part of a community. Go team!

I had just started a road trip from Los Angeles to North Carolina when I realized that one of my headlights was out. When I arrived in Portland, I did a quick Yelp search and came across this establishment. Being as my father owns an auto repair shop, I like to think I know a thing or two about customer service and how to run a decent shop. All the employees here were fantastic. When my quick bulb change turned out to be much more tedious than the technician originally thought, he maintained contact with me letting me know that the service would take longer than I was originally quoted. I would definitely recommend this shop to both Portland residents and traveling tourists. In a world where it feels like every company is out to bankrupt most consumers, it is nice to know that there are some decent business owners and employees still out there.

Took my van to find out why my brakes were squealing and they replaced things, fixed thing... Whatever it is that auto shops do. Tow days later the squeal came back, but from the other side. Took it back and they weren't able to replicate the squeal, but they took stuff apart, lubed stuff and put it back together for no additional cost. No more squealing! Thanks, Honest 1!
